This unique tool is unlike any other, it was specially designed to function as both a compass and a protractor to mark large circles (up to 79") and radiating lines. Attaches to any "pinnable" surface and can be used to mark for both piecing and quilting. This tool is similar to Renae's Amazing Rays but suitable for smaller designs. It is very useful for drafting Mariner's Compass or New York Beauty blocks and marking radiating lines from a center point. It is designed to mark circles up to 35" in diameter. Renae's Amazing Arcs are 1/4" acrylic to guide your longarm machine in quilting circles from 12"- 83". They are designed to aid in quilting the circles that are marked using Renae"s Amazing Rays and Renae"s Mini Rays. Each set comes with 6 acrylic arcs designed to stitch 12 circle sizes. Each arc will stitch 2 circle sizes. Each arc is 10" long and 2 1/4" wide for easily handling with your longarm. The circle diameter they are designed to sew is etched near that edge. They are designed to compensate for a 1/4" hopping foot on your longarm to achieve the diameter of the circle drawn with the Rays tool.
